The debut release from Web of Sunsets is now out in the world. Available as a limited vinyl pressing (on coke bottle green or black) and digitally, “Fool’s Melodies” comes backed with “Neon Blood” — both songs recorded at Old Blackberry Way with Neil Weir. Get introduced to the A-side right here, and for those in Minneapolis, you can swoon as a group at the band’s official release show, this Thursday at the Eagles Club.

Wimps have shared a spastic new video for “Repeat,” the title track of their debut LP, which premiered earlier today on Impose. Featuring 5,500+ of Wimps’ favorite things, each shape corresponds to every note of each instrument being played to create a veritable hive of geometry over the many faces of Wimps. Simple, no? Edited and directed by bassist Matt Nyce.

Following a heavy month of being interviewed in hot tubs and revealing songwriting secrets, Wimps continue to hit the local circuit, including new dates with the Thermals and Cheater Slicks. All upcoming Wimps dates can be found on the tour page – a full US tour is coming this summer, stay tuned for details.

End of Time is proud to announce the debut release from Web of Sunsets. Hailing from Minneapolis, the self-described “acid country” trio features members of MN mainstays Heavy Deeds, Robust Worlds, and Gospel Gossip. Their first 7″ single will pair “Fool’s Melodies” with “Neon Blood,” both recorded with Neil Weir at Old Blackberry Way. Half lullaby, half paean to better times, “Fool’s Melodies” is a discontented daydream wrapped in acoustic guitar and honeyed vocals, plainly asking you to float away for three minutes time.
